SM's new boy group RIIZE (under SM Entertainment) will debut on September 4th.

The group name Rise is a combination of ‘Rise’, which means ‘to grow’, and ‘Realize’, which means ‘to realize’, and contains the meaning of ‘a team that grows together and moves forward to realize dreams’.

Rise consists of seven top members with both talent and visuals: Shotaro, Eunseok, Seongchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton. They are expected to write a new history in the music industry based on their “real-time odyssey” where each member, with their own unique personality and strengths, works together as a team.

In particular, RISE has presented a unique genre of 'Emotional Pop' that expresses their various emotions in their songs, and has aspirations to grow from an 'Emotional Pop Rookie' who puts inspiration from all their daily experiences into their music to an 'Emotional Pop Artist' who elicits empathy from everyone in the world.

Rise's first single album, 'Get A Guitar', which will be released on September 4th, was produced with the theme of the time the members spent as debut preparers, and contains two songs, the title song of the same name, 'Get A Guitar', and the prologue single, 'Memories'.
