You can opt to purchase insurance coverage for potential loss during the shipping process.

However, since the likelihood of loss is quite low, the items are typically shipped without additional insurance coverage.

The downsides of purchasing the insurance are:

  • There is an additional charge for the insurance. The amount varies depending on the insured value, the destination country, and the shipping method.
  • The insured value must be declared to customs, which can lead to additional customs duties and clearance issues.

In most cases, we do not recommend purchasing the insurance. However, we suggest considering the insurance in the following situations:

  • If the delivery location is in an area with a higher risk of parcel loss.
  • For shipping high-value items where customs duties are not a concern.

If you would like to purchase the insurance, please contact our customer service before shipment to inquire about the applicable premium. We can then include the insurance cost in the total shipping fee calculation.

By default, the items are shipped without any insurance coverage, so any loss compensation would be subject to the shipping carrier’s policies.
